Grupo de investigación / Research group
El equipo de investigación de este proyecto está formado por miembros del Grupo de Investigación en Arquitectura (GIA) de la Universidad de Zaragoza y por investigadores de la Universidad Europea de Madrid y de la Universidad de Alicante. El GIA es un grupo de Referencia (T37_20R) reconocido por el Gobierno de Aragón desde 2017, cuyos objetivos fundamentales son contribuir a la sostenibilidad ambiental y habitabilidad en la arquitectura, así como facilitar el acceso a la cultura arquitectónica. El presente proyecto se enmarca dentro del primero de dichos objetivos.

The research team of this project is made up of members of the Architecture Research Group (GIA) of the University of Zaragoza and of researchers from the European University of Madrid and the University of Alicante. GIA is a Reference group (T37_20R) recognized by the Government of Aragon since 2017, whose fundamental objectives are to contribute to environmental sustainability and habitability in architecture to facilitate access to architectural culture. This project is part of the first of these two objectives.

Profesora Titular de Universidad del área de Construcciones Arquitectónicas de la Universidad de Zaragoza. Arquitecta por la Universidad de Sevilla en 2000 y doctora por la universidad sueca Luleå University of Technology en 2004. Ha trabajado desempeñando labores docentes e investigadoras en Luleå University of Technology en Suecia (2000-2004), en la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón (2004-2010) y en la Universidad de Zaragoza (desde 2010 y continúa). Especializada en sostenibilidad y eficiencia energética en la rehabilitación de edificios y regeneración urbana, ha dirigido cuatro tesis, ha participado en más de 40 proyectos de investigación y contratos con empresas y tiene más de 85 publicaciones. Dirige la Cátedra Zaragoza Vivienda desde su creación en 2011. Es la investigadora responsable del Grupo de Investigación en Arquitectura (GIA) desde su creación en 2017.
Belinda López Mesa has a tenured Professorship at the University of Zaragoza in the area of Architectural Constructions. She got her degree in Architecture from the University of Seville in 2000, and the PhD degree from the Swedish university Luleå University of Technology in 2004. She has devoted her professional career to teaching and research at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden (2000-2004), Universitat Jaume I in Castellón (2004-2010) and University of Zaragoza (since 2010 and continues). Specializing in sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings renovation and urban regeneration, she has supervised four defended theses, participated in over 40 research projects and contracts with companies, and has more than 85 publications. She is the director of the Cátedra Zaragoza Vivienda since its creation in 2011. She is the main researcher of the GIA group since its creation in 2017.

Marta Monzón Chavarrías

Profesora Ayudante Doctora en la Universidad de Zaragoza en el área de Construcciones Arquitectónicas, donde pertenece desde 2016. Doctora en el programa de Eficiencia Energética y Energías Renovables (CIRCE-Unizar, 2016). Graduada en Arquitectura Técnica (Unizar 2009), grado en ingeniería de la edificación y máster en rehabilitación (UAX, 2010 y 2011). Miembro del Grupo de Investigación en Arquitectura del Gobierno de Aragón (desde 2017).
Assistant Professor at the University of Zaragoza, area of Architectural Constructions. She is teacher of this area since 2016. She got her PhD in the programme “Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency» (CIRCE-Unizar, 2016). She got a degree in Technical Architecture (Unizar, 2009), a degree in Building Engineering and Master in refurbishment (UAX, 2010 and 2011). She belongs to the GIA group since its creation in 2017, a reference research group recognized by the Aragon Government.

Doctora en el programa Arquitectura, Ciudad, Obra Civil y su Construcción (Universidad de Alicante, 2015) y premio extraordinario de Doctorado en 2018. Arquitecta por la E.P.S.A de Alicante en diciembre de 2007. Miembro del Grupo de Investigación en Arquitectura del Gobierno de Aragón (desde 2017).
Interim lecturer at the University of Zaragoza in the area of Architectural Constructions since 2016. PhD in “Architecture, City, Civil Works and Construction” (University of Alicante, 2015) and extraordinary Doctorate Award in 2018. Architect by the E.P.S.A of Alicante in December 2007. Jorge San Miguel Bellod

Jorge San Miguel Bellod es Arquitecto (ETSAUN 2012’) y Máster en Diseño y Gestión Ambiental de Edificios (ETSAUN 2014’). Como investigador desarrolla su Tesis Doctoral en el campo de la pobreza energética y la evaluación energética de edificios (ETSAUN and UCL 2018’). Actualmente es profesor asociado en la Universidad de Zaragoza y desarrolla su labor profesional como arquitecto en una oficina técnica especializada en el desarrollo de proyectos de rehabilitación y accesibilidad en edificios.
Jorge San Miguel Bellod is Architect (ETSAUN 2012′) and holds a Master Degree in Building Environmental Design and Management (ETSAUN 2014′). As a researcher he developed his Doctoral Thesis (ETSAUN and UCL 2018’) in the field of energy poverty and energy assessment of buildings. He is currently an Associated Lecturer in the University of Zaragoza and centres his professional practice in a technical office specialized in building renovation and accessibility projects.

Personal Investigador Contratado en la Universidad de Zaragoza, y Docente en centros de Secundaria y Formación Profesional. Más de 10 años de experiencia en estudios de arquitectura y en constructoras. Licenciada en Arquitectura en 2002, Máster Universitario en Energías Renovables en 2012 y Máster Universitario en Formación del Profesorado (ESO y FP) en 2021. Estudiante de Doctorado desde 2020. Investiga sobre la monitorización como instrumento de promoción y evaluación de la rehabilitación energética.

Investigadora contratada en la Universidad de Zaragoza, Departamento de Arquitectura, y colaboradora del Observatorio Ciudad 3R. Máster arquitecta por la Universidad de Zaragoza (2017) y estudiante de Doctorado en Nuevos Territorios en la Arquitectura (Unizar, desde 2020), donde investiga nuevos instrumentos para el fomento de la rehabilitación. Entre 2017 y 2020 trabajó como arquitecta en reconocidos estudios del norte de Portugal.
She is a researcher at the University of Zaragoza, Department of Architecture, and collaborates with the “Observatorio Ciudad 3R”. She holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture (Unizar, 2017) and is currently a PhD student. Her research is focused on the development of new tools to promote the renovation of buildings. Between 2017 and 2020, she worked as an architect at renowned architecture studios in Northern Portugal.
